1. When I submit credit card information online, is it secure?

Some people are concerned about submitting their credit card information over the Internet. In response to this concern, we provide a secure protocol for ensuring private transactions. All of our order form pages are secure and are delivered by Shopify, one of the largest online retailers in the world. When you reach the checkout page, you will notice in the address line of your browser window the https and a lock icon. The "s" in the https, stands for secure. The icon is there to further indicate to you that the page is secure.

To help ensure others will not have access to your credit card information while on our Web site, we urge you to sign off your account and close your browser window when you have finished your visit, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place.

If you still prefer not to use your credit card to order securely online, call 317-726-1901 and we will happily assist you with placing your order and paying for it via check.

2. How do I place an order online?

Ordering from Scott the Piano Guy Web Store is fast, safe, and convenient.

Placing and finalizing the items in your shopping cart:

Simply look at the top of the page and click on the category of products that interests you. You will then see images of available items in that category. To learn more about a specific product, just click on the image of the product. Then simply scroll down to see the details about the product.

When you want to purchase an item, you must first choose a ship to destination. Choose either "USA" or outside the USA. Then click on the 'ADD TO CART' button. The shopping cart contains all the items you selected while shopping. During this step, you can add or delete items, and change quantities.

If you want to modify your shopping cart, just click the "Edit Cart" link. After reviewing the contents of your cart click on "Proceed to Checkout." For your convenience we do not require you to login until you want to actually place an order.

The system will then walk you seamlessly through the quick and easy order process, all handled on the back end by amazon.com, the most trusted name in online retailing.

A confirmation of a successful order will be e-mailed to your e-mail address given during the order process.

3. & 4. How do you ship your products and how long does it take to receive them?


We currently use Amazon to fulfill our USA destination orders, which allows you to benefit from Amazon's high shipping volume and incredibly low postage and delivery fees. The end result to you is that the shipping rate that you are offered is much lower than what we could previously offer to you before moving to Amazon as our fulfillment service. You will be presented with shipping options that are determined by the items that you have in your cart, their size, and weight, etc. You will be offered a variety of options (Standard 3-7 business days, Expedited 2-business days and Priority-next business day if ordered by 1 pm EST) which allows you to select the shipping option that gets your order to you when you need it. Holidays and weekends are generally not considered a business day. (Please know that shipping times are highly accurate but are not guaranteed.) Therefore, shipping times vary according to your selection.

Shipping our products to an outside USA destination: We use the United States Postal Service to ship to our outside the United States customers via First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International (if over 5 pounds).

You will be presented with a shipping fee that is determined by the items that you have in your shopping cart. The items’ size, weight and the location to where you are shipping the products will all be used to determine the cost of the shipping fee. The number of days it takes for your package to arrive varies greatly from country to country. Know that generally your order ships the next business day from our Indianapolis, Indiana office. The items are usually trackable up to the point of its arrival to customs of the country the item is being sent.

6. When do you charge my Credit Card?

Your card will be charged the full amount upon your order confirmation and the order will be fulfilled within 1 business days in most cases. In a rare occurrence where there is a problem with inventory, and your order will not be shipped immediately, your card will be charged once the order actually ships.

7. Do you stock all the products on your website?


We stock all items available at the Scott the Piano Guy Web Store. Generally, if an item is out of stock it will not even display in the store. In the rare event that an item is not immediately available for shipping for a confirmed order, the products that are available will be sent immediately. The back-ordered product in a second follow up shipment will be sent separately at no additional cost to you, our customer.

8. What is your refund policy?


Even though our products don't come in different sizes or colors that readily need returned, we understand that now and then things go wrong, or you might have purchased something that is really not right for you. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and even more, want to make sure you will be playing piano as soon as possible!

For that reason we generally have a 30-day no-hassle return policy.

9. What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?


All major credit cards are accepted, and you can feel safe knowing that all of our payment processing is handled by Paypal. We also accept US bank money orders.

10. Will I receive order confirmation via email?


Yes, we will send you an email confirming your order, as well as another email when your order is completed and shipped. If you do not receive an email from the system, please call us to confirm your order as either your email provider is blocking our domain, or your mail allotment is full or the email address was mis-typed. In any case, we would be happy to provide you with your order status by calling 317-726-1901 or contacting us by any method described here .

11. How are shipping and handling calculated?


Because we use Amazon to fulfill all of our US destination orders, you as a customer will be entitled to the lowest shipping fees available. Shipping and handling charges are calculated on the merchandise total weight, size, and zone for each delivery address. The products you have selected will be shipped from the nearest Amazon Shipping Facility that has the products you selected in stock. This not only lowers the cost to you, but also dramatically speeds up the delivery time versus our previous fulfillment from our own warehouse. Shipping and handling charges for International orders (destinations outside the US) are calculated on the merchandise total weight, size, and location for each delivery address from Indianapolis, IN. 12. How do I access/view my VOD products I have previously purchased?


Go to: https://scotthouston.cinevee.com. Click on “log in” located on the upper right hand corner of the page. Enter your email address and the password you created when you purchased your first steaming or downloadable title. Click on the gray icon of a person. From there, click on “library.” Click on the title that you are wishing to view from the list of purchased titles. That should do it!
